The children in foundation 1 have been exploring interactive Christmas toys. The children have been exploring how to turn the toys on and operate the volume. The children discovered that some of the parts used magnets to make the toys move. Foundation 1 staff observed the children and talked about the ICT apparatus, what it does, what they can do with it and how the children can use it safely

Foundation 1 have been playing with wind up toys. The children use cause and effect toys as part of understand the world and technology. The boys used the toys to race each other and work on their fine motor skills.
